One of my favourite meals is a Sunday roast. Well, I am British. The Drumming Snipe in Woking does a bloody good one, so that’s where we spent our Sunday afternoon. The potatoes are crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside, the crackling is soft and crisp in all the right places, the carrots are sweet and juicy and the Yorkshire puddings are spectacular domes of greatness.
It’s starting to get cold, so the long boots are out and the arms are covered. I think a denim shirt dress is pretty classic, and the ruffles give this one a contemporary feel. I’m confident it’ll stand the test of time. I wore it to a festival in the summer with sandals, so it’s definitely versatile, too.
