Hello. I’m Gemma. I’m a writer, content designer and mum. I live in Surrey, I’m in my forties and I make an excellent sandwich. I’ve loved clothes for as long as I can remember. I love the creativity and freedom of shaping an outfit. I love the joy clothes can bring. I don’t love being a servant to consumerism. Or the impact fast fashion has on the planet, my bank balance and my conscience. This blog is about rethinking style. I’m spending a year not buying any new clothes. Along the way, I’ll explore the idea of buying better, champion wardrobe staples, and interview people whose style goes beyond trends.
